ShowMe WorldCare is made available for the purpose of conducting public health activities. System users shall only use the data and information in ShowMe WorldCare as outlined in 19 CSR 20-20. System users shall only utilize data which fall within their job responsibilities and shall adhere to national case definitions and DHSS guidance. Repeated failure to utilize ShowMe WorldCare appropriately after notification from DHSS may result in suspension or termination of access.
System users shall be responsible for all actions associated with their assigned username and password and shall be accountable for any improprieties regarding the use of said data according to federal and state laws and regulations. System usage shall be regularly monitored. System users shall have read, understand, and agree to abide by the following sections in the Missouri Code of State Regulations and Revised Statutes of Missouri (RSMo) regarding data restrictions: 19 CSR 20-20.075; §167.183, RSMo; §191.656, RSMo; §192.067, RSMo; §210.040, RSMo; §210.050, RSMo; and §701.328, RSMo. System users with access to patient-level data shall abide by DHSS guidelines for suppression of small numbers.
System users shall contact the DHSS Bureau of Data Modernization and Interoperability (BDMI) at 573-522-2802 or edx.health.mo.gov to report known or suspected data breaches and/or to discuss proposed uses of patient-level data that fall outside the scope of regular/routine duties or potential release of data suppressed by the DHSS suppression guidelines.

This system and equipment are subject to monitoring to ensure proper performance of applicable security features or procedures. Such monitoring may result in the acquisition, recording, and analysis of all data being communicated, transmitted, processed, or stored in this system by a user. If monitoring reveals possible evidence of criminal activity, such evidence may be provided to Law Enforcement Personnel.
